Contributed to developing AI-powered radar systems for automotive safety and accident prevention. Designed and built pipelines for preparing training data for edge automotive AI/ML systems. Trained neural networks to detect objects from radar pointclouds using state-of-the-art architectures. Evaluated key performance metrics to identify future development paths.

Acquired expertise and transferable skills in the highly regulated finance/fund management industry at Carne Group, a global provider of fund management solutions. Developed Python pipelines for large scale data processing and visualization. Used Azure Cloud tools for further data processing and surfacing crucial business insights.
ML Team Lead - ULAS HIPR
University of Limerick
Led the ML development for the University of Limerick's rocketry team competing in EuRoC 2024, a highly competitive International student rocketry competition. Developed a custom ML framework to identify the landing zone using images from the rocket. Placed 5th of 20 teams (some of which had $1,000,000 budgets) in the final at the competition, overcoming minimal resources and funding.
CTO & Co-founder - Second Chapter
A startup I worked on for about 18 months while in college. Built a textbook marketplace for schools, with an app published to the App Store and Play Store. Built CI/CD pipelines, tenant provisioning, an admin dashboard and much more. Ended up sunsetting the project due to the introduction of a (fantastic) nationwide free schoolbook scheme.
